Fire Hydrant Flushing begins this week-April 22, 2019

As part of ongoing maintenance, the Department of Public Works will conduct Fire Hydrant flushing beginning the week of April 22 and continue until the city-wide maintenance is complete.

This year the schedule will commence from the South to North.

During the maintenance, homes in the area may experience a decrease in water pressure or discolored water from the unsettled sediment.

If you experience discolored water, please run the faucet until clear. It it also suggested to postpone laundry until flushing has been completed.
